Greetings! This is my fourth year as the proud principal of WLMS and my 32nd year as an HCPSS Educator. I received a BS degree in elementary education from the University of Maryland at College Park (UMCP) and continued my education by earning a Masters’ Degree in Curriculum & Instruction at UMCP. Soon afterwards, I returned to school and also hold an Administrator and Supervision Certificate from Johns Hopkins University. I pride myself on being a “hands-on” administrator. I will work diligently and collaboratively each day to build relationships with our students, staff, and parents. What is best for students and classrooms remains at the heart of my decision- making. I encourage all parents to keep the lines of communication open with your child's teachers and administration. I have two grown sons, Ben & Daniel, who are HCPSS alumnae. When I'm not at WLMS, I enjoy reading, playing tennis, decorating, and spending time with my husband, Mike, and our Golden Retriever/Yellow Lab named Casey.
