This year our goal is 10,000. The yellow Planetaid clothing donation bin is located in the front of the building near the baseball field. Planetaid pays Wilde Lake Middle by the pound. Dropping off clothing donations to the Planetaid bin is a great way to help out. Thanks for your donations and your support. If you are interested in direct financial donations, please reach out to our Principal's Secretary, Heather Godwin, at Heather_Godwin@hcpss.org.
PTSA: The first Shark Bite store will take place Friday Dec. 6th on the stage during all three lunch periods. The students work hard to earn Shark Bites and really look forward to shopping–it takes a lot of volunteers and donations to make it happen. Volunteers are needed to help set up, help students during the stores, and help with cleanup after the last lunch. Please use the following SignUp Genius to volunteer. Any time you can give is appreciated! Starting now until the day of the store we will be accepting donations for the store itself. There are several ways to donate: 1. You can purchase items on the Amazon Wishlist (Please feel free to share the Amazon Wishlist with family and friends.) 2. You can donate money on the PTSA Website or 3. You can purchase items off of the suggested list below and turn them into the main office (Labeled “Shark Bite Store”). Any amount helps! Suggested Donations: (from Five Below or similar store) Room decor, stuffed animals, blankets, tech stuff, art/craft supplies, basketballs, footballs, and beauty items. Donated items must be new or unused. Thank you for your support! Performing Arts Boosters One of the things that makes WLMS such a great place for our kids is the amazing performing arts program. Whether your kiddo is enrolled in Band, Orchestra, Theatre, Chorus or Dance, the Boosters make sure they have what they need and get those extra resources that make the programs thrive. The Boosters help arrange and pay for everything from the WLMS afterschool theatre program, to purchasing dance shoes, costumes, and instruments, to bringing in actors and musicians to work with the students. But to do this, we need your support! Not a member yet? Just go to our sign up page at this link (https://form.jotform.com/242294952012150). Mark your calendars!
