Tiger Shark Bytes
June 9, 2023 Newsletter
Happy Friday, Tigershark Families,
As we enter the final three days of the 2022-2023 school year, we want to ensure that you have access to the schedules for the last three half-days. Note the adjusted lunch times if you need to drop off your students' food. Additionally, thank you to those families who have notified us of early travel and completed the discretionary absence form. If you know now that your student will not be in attendance next please make sure you let us know, so we can ensure teachers are aware and can plan accordingly. We want to make sure all students have a strong academic finish.
8th grade Block Party Celebration will take place on Mon. June 12th from 6-8pm - Please review the invitation that went home with your 8th grader this week. Just as last year, this event is not a formal event. It will be similar to our beginning of year block party.
Attention 6th and 7th grade parents/guardians: On Monday June 12th from 6-8 PM the WLMS Staff will be throwing a Block Party to celebrate our 8th Graders and wish them well as they begin their high school journey in the fall. It is a WLMS tradition that parents who do not currently have 8th Graders volunteer at the event to help set-up, serve food, and clean-up. This allows the families of the 8th Graders to relax and enjoy the celebration. Please consider coming out to help make the event a success for our 8th Graders and their families! Any help is appreciated, please see the Sign-up Genius link below: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0844ADA92CA2F49-6thand
Quarter 4 report cards will be available in HCPSS Connect Synergy after 4 p.m. on Friday, June 16. Directions on how to access them can be found online.
