PTSA Weekly Update: PTSA Website: https://tigersharks.memberhub.com/ Shark Bite Store: THANK YOU! Thank you to all the families that were able to donate to the Store! And thank you to all of the volunteers who make the stores possible! ****River House Pizza Fundraiser:**** DUE BY MARCH 22nd! Order delicious pizzas from River House Pizza Company! Online orders are due by March 22 and items will be delivered to the school for pick up on the evening of April 7th! (River House will donate 20% to the PTSA!) Order online on our PTSA website. Forever Shark Legacy Brick: Visit the PTSA website for details on how to purchase an engraved Legacy brick that will be added to the pavement in front of the school. Message from Health Room: **Attention parents/guardians of rising 7th graders: Effective the first day of school 2022/23, 1 dose of Tdap vaccine and 1 dose of Meningococcal vaccine (MCV4) are required by the state of Maryland for all students entering Grade 7. Many students may have already received these immunizations, but the Health Room may not have the updated immunization record. Please contact your child’s doctor to schedule an appointment before the start of 2022-2023 school year to receive the mandatory vaccines and/or send in an updated copy of your child’s immunizations to the Health Room. The fax # is (410) 730-3275 or 410-313-6963- or you may email a copy to Thomasena_Brown@hcpss.org. If we DO NOT receive proof of immunization, your child will be excluded from school.
**Attention parents/guardians of 8th grade students: if you received a Hearing and Vision Referral for your student, please have your Medical Provider complete the information on the form and fax the completed form directly to Health Services at 410-313-6780. Please call or email Mrs. Brown if you have any questions.
Symptom Self CheckParents/guardians should keep their children home if they are experiencing symptom(s) associated with any communicable disease, including COVID-19. In addition, parents/guardians are to perform the following COVID-19 health check every day before the student leaves home. A student should NOT come to school with any of these symptoms:
For persons with chronic conditions such as asthma, the symptoms should represent a change from baseline. Children exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 may not attend school and must be kept home.

ICYMI: FREE Student Bus Passes: HCPSS has partnered with Howard County Government and the Regional Transit Authority of Central Maryland (RTA) to provide free RTA bus passes to students (Links to an external site.).
