Happy Friday, Tiger Shark Families,
With the temperatures dropping, be sure your student dresses appropriately for the weather. If they happen to be missing their sweatshirt or coat, have them check out the lost and found during lunch.
Parent teacher conferences will be starting on Monday and will go thru Wednesday. Be sure to have your times and teacher links ready to go, so you don't miss out. Also on Monday, 11/22, WLMS will be hosting our annual Turkey Trot. Below you will find the schedule for Monday.

Duck, Cover, Hold On Drill
On Friday, November 19th, students and staff participated in a duck, cover, and hold on drill. This drill is one of the safety measures that all HCPSS schools conduct periodically throughout the year as part of our Emergency Response Plan. Duck, cover, and hold on is considered appropriate for situations such as terrorism, earthquake, explosion, or other emergencies that may cause significant structural damage. You can find detailed information about what occurs during protective actions taken during emergencies at https://www.hcpss.org/safety/#response-plans. We encourage you to ask your child about the drill and let us know if they have any questions or concerns. Also, please let us know if you have any questions.
